Introduction to TALENs

Mechanism of Action

This modification enhances the precision of gene editing by promoting homology-directed repair (HDR) over NHEJ. HDR is a more accurate repair mechanism that uses a homologous DNA template to precisely repair the break, leading to more controlled and specific genetic modifications.
